Valandil
Valandil was a Dúnedain Ranger and chieftain of the North. He was the son of King Arassuil and brother to King Arathorn I. Valandil was born in the year TA 1931 and died in the year TA 2106. He was a member of the Dúnedain, a group of Men descended from the Númenóreans who settled in Middle-earth after the downfall of their island kingdom. The Dúnedain were known for their long lives, their courage, and their skill in warfare and tracking.
