Vahealal

Vahealal is a calcified lesion of the conjunctiva that presents as a firm, white patch on the eye. It is a benign growth that can occur in individuals of all ages, but is more common in older adults.

Vahealal is often associated with chronic inflammation of the eye, such as trachoma, which is a leading cause of preventable blindness worldwide. It is also thought to be linked to other types of eye disease, including conjunctivitis and chalazion.

The exact cause of vahealal is not known, but it is believed to result from the accumulation of calcium salts within the conjunctival tissue. This process is thought to be triggered by inflammation or other factors that lead to the disruption of the normal functioning of the conjunctiva.
