Värählys

Värählys is a term originating from Finnish that translates to "vibration" or "oscillation." In a scientific context, it refers to a repetitive motion or disturbance that oscillates about a central equilibrium point. This phenomenon is fundamental to many areas of physics and engineering, describing everything from the movement of atoms to the behavior of large structures.

When an object or system värähdelles, it displaces from its resting position and then returns, often overshooting and oscillating back and forth.
