Vägdetektorer, often referred to as road detectors or traffic sensors, are devices used to gather information about vehicles and traffic flow on roadways. These sensors are crucial for traffic management systems, providing data that helps optimize traffic signal timing, monitor congestion, and collect statistics. Inductive loop detectors are among the most common. They consist of a loop of wire buried in the pavement.
