Uppskeruð

Uppskeruð is an Icelandic adjective and past participle meaning harvested or reaped. It is used to describe crops, fruit, or fields that have been gathered during the harvest season.

The word derives from the verb uppskera, to harvest, with the participial suffix -uð. Grammatically it agrees with the noun it modifies in gender and number, and it can appear in phrases such as uppskeruð kartöflur (harvested potatoes) or uppskeruð ávöxtur (harvested fruit).

In Icelandic agricultural language, uppskeruð commonly appears in reports, labeling, and farming discussions to indicate produce that is ready for sale or consumption after harvest. It is closely connected to uppskerutími (harvest season) and to afrakstur (yield) from harvesting.
