Upperch

Upperch is a village and civil parish in the rural Midlands region of Eldoria. It is situated on a limestone terrace above the River Alder, about 20 kilometers north of the town of Brindle. The parish covers approximately 9 square kilometers and has a population around 1,200.

The name Upperch is believed to originate from Old English elements meaning "upper hill," reflecting its elevated position above the surrounding floodplain. The earliest records date from the 12th century, when the manor of Upperch was mentioned in regional inventories.
