Unicursallabyrintin, literally meaning unicursal labyrinth in Icelandic, refers to a class of labyrinth designs in which the path from the entrance to the center and back is a single continuous line. The design is characterized by the absence of choices, branches, or dead ends; a walker follows one uninterrupted route.

In contrast to mazes, which contain multiple routes and dead ends intended to confuse or challenge the walker, unicursal labyrinths are used for contemplation, meditation, and ritual walking. The experience emphasizes a steady, inward journey rather than problem solving or route-finding.

Historically, unicursal labyrinth patterns appear in various cultural contexts, with the best-known example being the Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France, dating from the late medieval period.
