Ultium is General Motors’ battery technology platform for electric vehicles, introduced in 2020 as a flexible, scalable system intended to support a broad range of GM's EVs. It encompasses a family of large-format cells, modular modules, and a unified pack architecture designed to reduce cost, increase energy capacity, and enable common production across different vehicle types.
