UVabsorberek, also known as UV absorbers, are chemical compounds that protect materials from ultraviolet (UV) radiation damage. They work by absorbing UV light and converting it into heat, which is then dissipated harmlessly. This process prevents the UV radiation from initiating photochemical reactions that can degrade polymers, plastics, coatings, textiles, and other susceptible materials.

These absorbers are crucial in extending the lifespan and maintaining the aesthetic and functional properties of many products. For example, they are commonly added to plastics used in outdoor furniture, automotive parts, and construction materials to prevent yellowing, cracking, and loss of strength caused by sun exposure.
