USBühendust refers to a Universal Serial Bus connection. It is a standard interface that allows communication between devices and a host controller, typically a computer. USB has become ubiquitous in modern electronics due to its versatility, ease of use, and the ability to provide power.

The USB standard defines various connectors and cables, with common types including USB-A, USB-B, Mini-USB, Micro-USB, and the more recent USB-C. USB-A is the most widely recognized rectangular connector found on most computers. USB-B connectors are often found on larger peripherals like printers. Mini and Micro USB connectors were common for mobile devices before the widespread adoption of USB-C. USB-C is a reversible connector, meaning it can be plugged in either way up, and supports higher data transfer speeds and power delivery.

USBühendust supports different data transfer speeds depending on the USB version. USB 1.0 and 1.1 offered speeds up to 12 Mbps, while USB 2.0 increased this to 480 Mbps. USB 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 further enhanced speeds, reaching up to 20 Gbps.
