UH11

UH11 is a type of helicopter developed by the Soviet Union in the 1960s. It was designed as a utility helicopter, intended for various roles such as cargo transport, medical evacuation, and search and rescue operations. The UH11 was a single-engine helicopter, powered by a Klimov VK-2500 engine, which provided it with a top speed of around 200 kilometers per hour and a range of approximately 400 kilometers.

The UH11 featured a conventional tail rotor for anti-torque, and it had a seating configuration for a pilot and up to seven passengers. Its design was relatively simple, with a fixed tail rotor and a three-bladed main rotor. The helicopter was known for its reliability and ease of maintenance, which made it popular among military and civilian operators.

The UH11 was first flown in 1964 and entered service with the Soviet Air Forces in 1966. It was also exported to several countries, including China, where it was known as the Z-5. The UH11 remained in service with various operators until the late 1990s, when it was gradually replaced by more modern helicopters.
