Tuulisuojan

Tuulisuojan is a Finnish term referring to a wind protection element designed to reduce the impact of wind on people, buildings, crops, or equipment. It is used in architecture, urban design, and agriculture to create more favorable microclimates and to improve comfort and efficiency. In practice, tuulisuojat can be permanent or temporary and may take the form of screens, walls, fences, hedges, or rows of trees and shrubs. They can be freestanding or integrated into existing structures.
