Tupig is a Filipino delicacy originating from the Ilocos region of the Philippines. It is a type of suman, a rice cake made from glutinous rice. The defining characteristic of tupig is its preparation method and the use of young coconut. The glutinous rice is ground and mixed with coconut milk, sugar, and sometimes grated young coconut meat.
