Tulirelva

Tulirelva is a small municipality situated in the southeastern region of the nation of Veridia, lying at an elevation of approximately 320 metres above sea level. The town is set on the banks of the River Larkos, which feeds into the larger Veridian Sea, and its landscape is characterized by rolling hills, patchwork farmland and thinly treed upland. The climate is temperate oceanic, with mild summers and cool winters; average temperatures range from 4 °C in January to 18 °C in July, and annual precipitation averages 850 mm.[1]

The earliest records of settlement in the Tulirelva area date back to the Roman era, where it served as a small trading post along the Via Imperia. During the Middle Ages it was incorporated into the County of Valeria, and a medieval fortress—now largely in ruins—stood at the town’s centre until the 16th century. In the 19th century, the arrival of the rail line connecting Nivara to the capital city of Serenon spurred modest industrial development, primarily in textiles and grain milling. After the Second World War, Tulirelva was rebuilt as part of Veridia’s rural development program, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and eco‑tourism.

Today Tulirelva’s economy remains predominantly agrarian, with olive orchards, vineyards and dairy farms comprising most of its production. The municipal council has invested in a heritage trail that links historic sites, a local museum dedicated to Veridian folk art, and a community centre that hosts seasonal festivals celebrating traditional music, dance and cuisine.[2] The town’s population is approximately 3,800 residents, with a demographic mix of age groups that reflects the broader demographic trends of southeastern Veridia.
