Trägheits
Trägheit, also known as inertia, is a fundamental property of matter. It describes the resistance of any physical object to any change in its state of motion. This means an object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion will stay in motion with the same speed and in the same direction, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. The concept of inertia is formally defined by Isaac Newton's first law of motion, often referred to as the law of inertia.
