Treuhandvertrag

Treuhandvertrag is a contract under civil law in which a Treugeber transfers ownership or disposal rights of assets to a Treuhänder, who administers them treuhänderisch for a Begünstigter or for a specific purpose. The agreement defines the purpose, the scope of powers, the duration and the instructions of the Treugeber. Parties typically include Treugeber, Treuhänder and Begünstigter; the assets can be money, securities, real property or other rights.
