Trettondedag
Trettondedag, also known as Epiphany, is a Christian festival celebrated on January 6th. It commemorates the biblical story of the Magi, the three wise men, who traveled from the East to present gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the infant Jesus. In many Western Christian traditions, Trettondedag marks the end of the Christmas season, which begins on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. The celebration often involves special church services, and in some cultures, it is a public holiday with parades and festivities.
The name "Trettondedag" translates to "Thirteenth Day" in Swedish, referring to the thirteenth day after Christmas.
