Transnacionaliteti

Transnacionaliteti refers to the state of being transnational, a concept that describes the interconnectedness and fluidity of social, economic, political, and cultural relations across national borders. Unlike traditional notions of nationality, which emphasize fixed boundaries and state-centric identities, transnationalism acknowledges the movement, interactions, and identities that transcend single nation-states. This phenomenon has gained prominence in an era of globalization, where migration, digital communication, and economic integration have blurred the lines between countries.

The term emerged in academic and sociological discourse in the late 20th century as scholars sought to explain the experiences of migrants, diasporic communities, and multinational corporations.
