TorrLscm2

TorrLscm2 is a cross-platform, open-source software framework designed to support low-latency data streaming and machine-to-machine communication in distributed systems. It is the second major release in the TorrLscm family, introduced to improve throughput, determinism, and configurability over the original version.

Architecture and features: TorrLscm2 uses a modular architecture centered on a high-performance event loop. It provides a transport layer with selectable backends (TCP, UDP, and RDMA where available), a compact message framing protocol, and a pluggable protocol adapter system. The core supports zero-copy I/O, batched processing, and a configurable thread pool to balance latency and throughput. Security is provided by TLS 1.3 for transport encryption and optional mutual authentication. Data can be compressed with algorithms such as Zstd or LZ4, and integrity can be verified with checksums.
