Torjunnassa

Torjunnassa is the inessive singular form of the Finnish noun torjunta, meaning pest control or eradication. In Finnish grammar, the suffix -ssa marks the inessive case, used to express location or context—thus torjunnassa means “in pest control” or “in the context of pest control.” The term often appears in sentences that discuss actions, measures, or policies carried out within pest control efforts, such as agriculture, public health, or wildlife management.

Common usage includes phrases like “torjunnassa käytettävät aineet” (agents used in pest control), “torjuntatoimet” (control measures),

Grammatical notes: Torjunta is a feminine noun; inessive form torjunnassa is formed by adding -ssa. The word
