Torenklok
Torenklok is a Dutch term for a tower clock, a public timekeeping device mounted in a bell tower or clock tower. The mechanism typically houses a large bell, a striking mechanism, and a visible clock face, often with a second hand. Unlike pendulum or quartz clocks, the torenklok relies on a winding weight or spring system to power the movement and the striking apparatus that rings the bell at set intervals.
