Toksinen
Toksinen is a Norwegian term used to describe substances or agents that are poisonous or capable of causing harm to living organisms. In toxicology, the term is often linked to toxins (toksiner), which are poisonous substances produced by living organisms, and to toxic substances that may be synthetic or originate from the environment.
The word toksin comes from the Greek toxinon, meaning poison, and has passed into many European languages
