A toimitustodistus, commonly known as a delivery note or dispatch note in English, is a document used in logistics and commerce to confirm the transfer of goods between parties. It serves as proof that a shipment has been delivered and typically includes details such as the sender’s and recipient’s information, a description of the items, quantities, and any relevant notes about the condition or handling of the goods.

In Finland, the toimitustodistus is often used alongside an invoice (laskutus) and a packing list (pakkalista) to ensure clarity in transactions. The document may be issued by the carrier or the sender and is sometimes signed by the recipient upon receipt to acknowledge delivery. It helps in tracking shipments, resolving disputes, and facilitating customs procedures if the goods cross borders.
