Tilttábla

Tilttábla is a Hungarian term that translates to "tilt board" or "tipping board." It refers to a piece of equipment used in various physical therapy and rehabilitation settings, particularly for improving balance, proprioception, and core strength. These boards are typically flat surfaces that are balanced on a central pivot point or a curved base, allowing them to tilt in multiple directions. The user stands or sits on the tilttábla and must constantly make small adjustments to maintain their balance as the board moves.

The primary purpose of using a tilttábla is to challenge the body's stabilizing muscles, including those in the ankles, knees, hips, and core.
