Tiltekinir

Tiltekinir is a small, terrestrial gastropod mollusk found in the northern regions of the fictional continent of Eldoria. These creatures are characterized by their distinctive, spiraled shells, which typically range in color from pale grey to a mottled brown. Their size is generally modest, with adults rarely exceeding two centimeters in length. The shell's pattern often features subtle concentric rings, providing camouflage against the rocky and mossy environments they inhabit.

These mollusks are primarily herbivorous, feeding on a variety of mosses, lichens, and soft plant matter. They are most active during damp conditions, typically after rainfall or in the early morning mist, when their soft bodies are less susceptible to desiccation. During drier periods, Tiltekinir retract into their shells, sealing the opening with a mucous membrane to conserve moisture.

Tiltekinir reproduce sexually, with individuals possessing both male and female reproductive organs. They lay small clutches of translucent eggs in damp soil or under decaying vegetation. The lifespan of a Tiltekinir is relatively short, often only one to two years, with their primary threats including predation by small birds, amphibians, and insectivores, as well as habitat loss due to changing weather patterns or agricultural expansion in Eldoria. Their presence is often considered an indicator of a healthy, undisturbed micro-ecosystem.
