Thjælpertceller, also known as helper T cells, are a type of lymphocyte that play a crucial role in the adaptive immune system. They are a subtype of T cells, which are white blood cells that originate in the bone marrow and mature in the thymus. Helper T cells are essential for coordinating the immune response against pathogens and abnormal cells.
