Thirasia
Thirasia is a small Greek island located in the Cyclades archipelago, situated to the west of Santorini. It is part of the Santorini municipality. The island's name is believed to derive from "Thera," the ancient name for Santorini. Thirasia is geographically a remnant of the original island of Thera, which was largely destroyed by a massive volcanic eruption in the 17th century BC. Today, Thirasia represents the westernmost part of the caldera rim.
