Therapiert

Therapiert is the past participle of the German verb therapieren (to treat with therapy). It is used to indicate that someone or something has received therapeutic treatment, and it appears in passive constructions or as a predicative adjective. For example, Der Patient wird therapiert and Der Patient ist therapiert show how it can describe ongoing or completed treatment in ordinary or clinical language.

The term derives from Therapie, the German word for therapy, which in turn traces to French thérapie

Usage notes: Therapiert primarily appears in clinical or scientific writing, but it also occurs in everyday

Examples:

- Der Patient ist gut therapiert.
