Thchosaurus
Thchosaurus is a genus of titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, known from fossil remains found in the Ojo Alamo Formation in New Mexico, USA. The genus was first described in 2005 by Kenneth Carpenter and colleagues based on a partial skeleton. The name "Thchosaurus" is derived from the Navajo word "Thcho," meaning "eagle," and the Greek word "sauros," meaning "lizard."
