Thangues
Thangues is a fictional entity appearing in the works of author H.P. Lovecraft. It is primarily known from the short story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth," though references to it also appear in other stories within the Cthulhu Mythos. Thangues is presented as a colossal, ancient sea deity or entity, often depicted as a monstrous, piscine humanoid with dark, leathery skin and immense power. Its origins are described as being from the deepest parts of the ocean, and it is associated with a race of amphibious creatures known as the Deep Ones.
In Lovecraft's mythology, Thangues is worshipped by certain isolated communities, most notably the inhabitants of Innsmouth.
