Th1responser
Th1responser is not a widely used term in standard immunology. When it appears, it typically denotes a cell, cell population, or individual that mounts a T helper 1–type immune response. In this sense, a Th1 responder is associated with the production of cytokines such as interferon-γ (IFN-γ), IL-2, and TNF-α, and with the activation of macrophages and cytotoxic T cells.
Th1 responses are driven by IL-12 and IFN-γ signaling and are steered at the transcriptional level by
In research and clinical contexts, defining a "Th1 responder" may involve measuring IFN-γ production by T cells
Given the lack of a standardized definition, the term is mostly informal. Most literature uses "Th1 response"
