Teutoburg
Teutoburg, commonly known as the Teutoburg Forest (Teutoburger Wald in German), is a forested hill range in northwestern Germany. It spans parts of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, extending roughly 90 to 110 kilometers from the Wiehen Hills in the north to the Egge Hills in the southeast, between the valleys of the Ems and Weser rivers. The region features dense beech and mixed forests, rugged ridges, and protected landscapes that form a natural corridor between the North German Plain and the central uplands.
