Terülés

Terülés is a Hungarian noun derived from the verb terül, which broadly means to lie down, stretch out, or extend. The term is infrequently used in modern everyday Hungarian and is more commonly found in linguistic descriptions, older texts, or regional speech. In standard usage, speakers typically employ other words to express related ideas, such as lefekvés for lying down or terület for area, rather than terülés itself.

In terms of senses, terülés can denote a few related notions. First, it can refer to the act or state of lying down or reclining, especially in poetic or archaic phrasing.
