Termoklappeja

Termoklappeja, often translated as thermal valves or thermostatic valves, are control devices designed to automatically regulate temperature by controlling the flow of a fluid. They are commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as in domestic hot water systems and various industrial processes.

The fundamental principle of a termoklappe involves a sensing element, typically a wax or liquid-filled capsule, which expands or contracts with changes in temperature. This expansion or contraction actuates a mechanism, such as a spring or diaphragm, that opens or closes a valve port. When the temperature rises above a set point, the sensing element expands, pushing a stem that restricts fluid flow. Conversely, when the temperature drops, the sensing element contracts, allowing the valve to open and increase fluid flow.

Termoklappeja offer several advantages, including energy efficiency by preventing overheating and maintaining desired temperatures, and operational simplicity as they require no external power source or complex control systems. They are also relatively low-maintenance and can provide precise temperature control.
