Tenryujis
Tenryu-ji is a prominent Zen Buddhist temple located in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the most important Zen temples in Kyoto and holds the distinction of being the head temple of its own school within the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism. Founded in 1339 by the shogun Ashikaga Takauji, the temple was established in memory of Emperor Go-Daigo.
