Tengerszintmérések refers to the measurement of the height of the sea level. These measurements are crucial for understanding long-term climate trends, predicting coastal flooding, and studying oceanographic processes. Historically, measurements were taken using tide gauges, which are essentially simple rulers placed at the coast.
