Temporalregion
Temporal region is the area of the head overlying the temporal bone and the temporalis muscle. It extends superiorly toward the superior temporal line of the parietal bone, inferiorly to the zygomatic arch, anteriorly toward the orbital rim and zygomatic bone, and posteriorly toward the external ear. The region includes the temporalis muscle and its fascia, parts of the temporomandibular joint, and surrounding soft tissues.
