Temistocle
Temistocle, Italian form of Themistocles (Greek: Θεμιστοκλῆς), was an Athenian statesman and general who rose to prominence in the early 5th century BCE. He is one of the most influential figures of the Persian Wars and is often credited with shaping Athens into a naval power.
