Tektónikus
Tektónikus is a term of Greek origin, derived from the word tektonikos, meaning pertaining to building or construction. In a scientific context, it is most commonly associated with geology and refers to the large-scale movements and interactions of Earth's lithospheric plates, known as tectonic plates. These movements are the driving force behind many geological phenomena, including earthquakes, volcanic activity, and the formation of mountains and ocean basins. The study of these processes is called plate tectonics. Beyond geology, the term can also be used in a broader sense to describe any process involving large-scale structural formation or arrangement. For instance, in architecture, the tectonic aspect refers to the structural system and how it is expressed, influencing the building's form and aesthetics. Similarly, in art or design, it might describe the fundamental structural elements or the way components are assembled to create a coherent whole. The core idea remains the underlying structure and its inherent organization.
