Teign

Teign is a civil parish in the Teignbridge district of Devon, England. It is named after the River Teign, which runs nearby and has given the valley its identity. The parish lies inland from the Teign Estuary and forms part of the rural hinterland surrounding the towns of Newton Abbot and Teignmouth.
