Tasikmalaya is a regency located in the West Java province of Indonesia. It is situated in the southern part of the province, bordered by the regency of Ciamis to the south, Garut to the west, and the regency of Tasikmalaya itself, which surrounds the city of Tasikmalaya. The regency is known for its diverse geography, characterized by mountainous terrain and fertile agricultural lands. Coffee and tea plantations are prominent in the highland areas, while rice paddies dominate the lower elevations.
