By attaching -ssa (in) and -nsa (its), the resulting form taseessaan designates a non-human subject’s balance sheet in a particular state or within a particular discussion. This form is most commonly used in business or public-sector writing, where financial reporting and the state of assets and liabilities are analyzed.
