Tasavirtapiirissä

Tasavirtapiirissä refers to a direct current (DC) electrical circuit. In a DC circuit, the electric charge flows in only one direction. This contrasts with alternating current (AC) circuits, where the direction of charge flow reverses periodically. Common sources of DC power include batteries, solar cells, and DC power supplies.

In a simple DC circuit, a voltage source, such as a battery, pushes electrical current through a closed loop that includes a load, like a resistor or a light bulb. The current flows from the positive terminal of the voltage source, through the load, and back to the negative terminal. The magnitude of the current is determined by Ohm's Law, which states that current is equal to the voltage divided by the resistance (I = V/R).
