Tapasztalóknak

Tapasztalóknak is a Hungarian dative plural form of the noun tapasztaló, meaning those who experience or have firsthand experience of something. The phrase functions as an indirect object or beneficiary in a sentence, indicating to whom or for whom something is intended or directed. The base word tapasztaló derives from tapasztalat, experience, with the agentive suffix -ó that turns the verb experience into a noun for “one who experiences.” The dative plural ending is -knak/-knek, resulting in tapasztalóknak: “to the experiencers” or “for the experiencers.”

In use, tapasztalóknak appears in contexts where a text, product, or action is targeted at people with experience in a given subject. Common examples include publication titles and instructional materials: Ez a kiadvány a tapasztalóknak szól (This publication is for the experiencers). A program is described as a tapasztalóknak készült, meaning it was prepared for or designed for those who have relevant experience. In everyday language the term is relatively specialized; more general terms such as résztvevők or érintettek are often used instead to denote participants or those affected.
