Talossasi

Talossasi is a micronation founded on January 2, 1979, by R.J. Brey and his wife, Julie, in the city of Gary, Indiana, United States. The micronation claims sovereignty over a territory that includes the former town of Talossa, located in the town of Superior, Wisconsin. The founding of Talossa was inspired by a fictional country described in a children's book.

The micronation has developed its own constitution, government structure, and official language, Talossan. The government consists of a King, a Prime Minister, and a Parliament. Citizens can obtain Talossan citizenship through various means, including birth, residency, or through application. Talossa has issued its own currency, stamps, and passports.

Over the years, Talossa has engaged in diplomatic relations with other micronations and has participated in micronational conferences. While it is not recognized by any sovereign state, Talossa maintains a consistent internal structure and community among its citizens. The micronation's activities are primarily focused on self-governance and the preservation of its unique cultural identity.
