Taimviljastamine refers to the process of plant fertilization, a crucial step in the sexual reproduction of flowering plants. It involves the transfer of pollen from the anther, the male part of a flower, to the stigma, the receptive tip of the pistil, the female reproductive organ. The ovule then matures into a seed, and the surrounding ovary typically develops into a fruit, enclosing and protecting the seed.
