Tagahammastikke refers to the molars, the large, flat teeth located at the back of the mouth. Humans typically have twelve molars, six on the upper jaw and six on the lower jaw, appearing in two sets: the primary (deciduous) molars and the permanent (adult) molars. The primary molars are temporary and are replaced by permanent teeth during childhood and adolescence. The permanent molars include the first, second, and third molars.
