Taean
Taean is a coastal county (gun) in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Located on the western coast along the Yellow Sea, it borders the sea to the west and is surrounded by other Chungcheong counties to the north and inland areas to the east. The county seat is Taean-eup. The district is divided into several municipalities, including towns and rural townships, and it encompasses mainland coast as well as offshore islands such as Anmyeon-do.
