TURKPATENT

The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, commonly known as TURKPATENT, is the governmental body responsible for granting and administering patents and trademarks in Turkey. Established in 1994, its primary mission is to protect intellectual property rights within the country and to foster innovation and economic development through an effective intellectual property system. TURKPATENT operates under the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

The office handles a wide range of intellectual property matters, including the registration of patents, utility models, trademarks, geographical indications, designs, and the protection of integrated circuit topographies. It plays a crucial role in examining applications, conducting searches, and issuing certificates for these intellectual property rights.
