TLSklientsertifikater
TLSklientsertifikater, also known as TLS client certificates, are digital certificates used to authenticate a client attempting to connect to a server. They are a key component of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, a cryptographic protocol designed to provide communications security over a computer network. Unlike server certificates which identify the server to the client, client certificates verify the identity of the client to the server.
During the TLS handshake process, if client authentication is enabled, the server will request a client certificate.
TLSklientsertifikater are particularly useful in scenarios requiring strong authentication, such as corporate networks, secure access to
